Tonight, we finished the book Radical by David Platt. The last chapter of the book challenges the reader to do an year experiment. The five criteria for the experiment are:
1. Pray for all the nations in the world
2. Read the entire Bible
3. Be apart of a church that supports outreach to the community for Christ
4. Sacrifice your money for a specific purpose
5. Spend time in another context for Christ
I believe doing an experiment like this could change your world and the world for Christ. What do you think? I don't believe completing these criteria for a year will be easy but I believe they will be worth it. The book is worth a read and the scriptures mentioned in the book are worth your consideration. Our Savior was a radical man and if we are to be like Him, we should intend to lead radical lives for Jesus. Is your life, your walk, your witness radical today?
